My art is inspired by small moments of love and connection. Images and concepts of ancient tales and mythology capture my imagination. My work also evolves from poetry, literature and dreams. The resulting paintings are both figurative and abstract, combining people, animals and sweeping landscapes in vivid colors and organic shapes.

I work in watercolor, mixed media and collage, integrating memory and imagination. Relationships between people, home, and elements of landscape bring out surprising interactions of color and form in my work.
